"Restorative Yoga meets Somatics”
a 25 hour immersive training with Ateeka
An informative and experiential 25 hour education with the intention of helping you to develop skills for practicing and sharing Restorative Yoga with a somatic perspective.
This course is an ideal immersion for yoga teachers, yoga practitioners, health care professionals physiotherapists, massage and bodywork therapists, dance and creative movement practitioners and teachers, and anyone curious about enhancing their own potential for self-healing.
-Experience and learn to teach classic and innovative somatic based Restorative Yoga postures.
-Practice, principles and theory of Restorative/Relaxation Yoga.
-Posture variations and use of supportive props to meet your students’ individual needs.
-Nervous System Resets to help your students relax into a deep state of regenerative response.
-Becoming familiar with the energetic body in the Restorative Yoga context
-The use of hands-on contact for support of the practice.
-Specific breathwork and pranayama practices for deep relaxation and healing.
-Specific protocols for teaching Restorative Yoga to those with chronic health issues.
-How sound and music affects the body-mind and use of sound/music in class.
-Some beautiful essential oil helpers / aromatherapy for Restorative Yoga support
You will receive a comprehensive yogaSOMATICS RESTORATIVE manual and 8 week teaching guide that you can keep forever and use a good reference guide for teaching or your own personal practice.

Early Bird Price until May 15: 6500 kr.*
Normal Price: 8000 kr.*
*Pay 600 kr as you sign up. An invoice will be sent shortly after sign up and 2400 kr is due by 15 May 2023 and the rest is due by 1 August 2023.
The deposit of 3000 kr. holds your space in the course. Places are limited. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All students who complete the 25 hour course hours will receive a certificate of course completion and an opportunity to apply to enter into a self paced 20 hour mentorship program with Ateeka to be recognized as yogaSOMATICS RESTORATIVE TEACHER
The Props you will need: Most props will be available at the yoga studio for you. A few extra props may be required to bring, and you will be advised of that prior to the course.
This course is valid for 25 credit hours towards elective hour requirements of the yogaSOMATICS Teacher Training and Somatic Bodywork Training.
ATEEKA is a yoga & somatic movement teacher and author. She shares a unique perspective on yoga, movement and wellness with a focus on women’s health. Drawing from more than 25 years of extensive study and practice in traditional yoga and modern somatic movement practices, her open-hearted style of teaching both with groups and individuals encourages the innate intelligence of the body’s bio-system to emerge in each individual’s unique way.
