We all know of the heart as a pump that reliably keeps blood moving throughout our body through our entire life . . . it is this . . . and also so much more.
In this workshop, we will experientially investigate the many diverse aspects of our own hearts: physical, energetic, emotional, collective and more. Systemic Yoga uses fluid yoga asana, pranayama (breathwork), sound vibration and healing song meditations, tantric philosophy and the caring contact of Tantsu to evoke creativity, wellness, connection and fun.
THE BEATING HEART: The heart is an organ of movement. The beat of your heart and the pulse of your breath are two valuable tools for accessing sensation and awareness of the inner movement of your own body. Systemic Yoga asana and breath meditations will give you new ways to discover unexplored inner terrain and movement of your physical heart, your blood, your body’s tissues and to live by the “here and now” rhythm of your heart.
THE EMOTIONAL HEART: The heart is an organ of tranformation. Learn Systemic Yoga practices that will help you access, embody and utilize the pure source energy of “e-motion” for greater self-awareness. Unchanneled emotions can turn into a storm of irrational reaction . . . Emotion channeled through the heart and body can become a tool for transformation. Learn to develop a “clear mind – open heart.”
THE PERCEPTIVE HEART: The heart is an organ of perception. When we are feeling “connected” the heart increases its coherence . . . or “empathetic non-verbal communication” with another, no matter what the distance. Explore Systemic Yoga, sound, song and poetry as a way to enhance perception and heart coherence. Heart coherence has been proven as a way to improve one’s health.
THE SHARED HEART: The heart is an organ of compassion. It is proven that those who have loving, respectful touch and contact in their daily lives have healthier and stronger hearts. Through Tantsu and other partners contact meditation, you will learn non-verbal ways of expressing your care and love through holding and touch. Deeply restful and healing, you will learn techniques that you can share with family and friends.
This workshop is open to EVERYBODY with an open-mind and a desire to reconnect to the natural movement of life and the flow of LOVE. Those who are new to the tantric practices will find safe and accessible ways to feel peace and ease in their body. Experienced yoga practitioners and teachers will expand and refresh their existing practice from the inside out.
Kurset holdes i lokaler på KHIO - Kunsthøyskolen i Oslo like ved Akerselven / Sannerbrua / Foss skole.
