iRest Meditation #1


After a brief orientation over the 10 steps of iRest we engage in BodySensing, a movement practice inviting us to feel the body as radiant field of sensation. Relating to the body playfully and creatively as an expression of the ever-present background of being we learn to strengthen our ability to meet and greet perceptions exactly as they are.
This adventure opens us up to the third part of the Friday evening session, which will be a guided iRest® Meditation.
The intention is to stay awake and alert while following the words into the body. We practice truly welcoming everything that we may experience. Focusing on feeling and sensing without trying to fix, change or alter what is arising in the moment we enter into a perspective shift:
We arrive in our true homeground of simply being, the ever-present refuge where we find stillness, peace and freedom.
